New works by old friends! Kevin Russell (Gourds/Shinyribs), Mike Henry (Austin Slam/Blue Plate Poets), and me, reading our best like it’s the mid-90s at the Electric Lounge again. Hopefully one event among several I’m lining up for late February in my home state!

Phill has done roughly 92% of my tattoos over the past couple of decades. He’s also the only human I know who can out-quote me from Raising Arizona and The Big Lebowski. His Boulder shop is an amazing venue packed with killer art and a top-notch crew. This event is still a work-in-progress, but you can expect a flash sale, top-notch tequila, live music from Hunter Stone, and me getting the title of the novel inked somewhere (right shin, prolly). Oh, and I’ll be reading from the novel, too.

My first book fair. Right across the water from Whidbey, too. I’ll be one of 85 PNW authors doing who knows what, but they promised us a visit from Krampus, so there’s that. Come by, say hi, grab a copy of the novel. First three to ask get my Mema’s “green jello with cheese in it” recipe just in time for Thanksgiving.

The official launch. Kicks off with music from Matt McDowell (Lofi, PNW Neo-noir). I’ll read a little bit from the novel and then we’ll do a short Q&A emceed by the inimitable Brooke Trisler. Done by 6, but the place doesn’t close until 8, so…
